Amanda Leigh Taylor and Micheal Scott "Scotty" Allen exchanged wedding vows at 3 p.m. June 19, 2004 at Shepherd Hill Baptist Church at Pine Bluff. Bobby Biggers officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Frank and Tina Taylor of Pine Bluff. Her grandparents are Peggy and Frank B. Taylor of Pine Bluff and Pauline Swinney of Jonesboro.
The bridegroom is the son of Ava Allen and Steve Allen, both of Pine Bluff. His grandparents are Valaria Hill of Pine Bluff and the late Cecil Hill and E.F. and Barbara Cook of Little Rock.
A program of nuptial music was furnished by Marilyn Degner.
Scottie Taylor and Kathryn Stewart, both cousins of the bride, were the flower girls.
The ringbearer was Hunter Allen, nephew of the bridegroom.
The candlelighters and ushers were Joey Geringer and Hunter Williamson.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown of duchess satin fashioned with a sweetheart neckline bordered with Austrian crystals, extending to the straps of the fitted bodice. The corset-styled back, embellished with embroidery and Austrian crystals, extended into an elegant chapel-length train.
Her veil was edged with satin and Austrian crystals and secured with a crystal headband.
She carried a hand-held bouquet of a dozen red roses.
The bride's jewelry was a diamond necklace and earrings.
Lisa Tomboli was the matron of honor. She wore a two-piece ensemble of iridescent apple, fashioned with a halter top and straight skirt.
Cindy Allen and Katrina Sprinkle, sister of the bride, were the bridesmaids.
The best man was Tony Allen.
Eric Holcomb and Greg Riggins were the groomsmen.
After the ceremony, a reception was held in the church.
Taylor Williamson, cousin of the bride, kept the bride's book.
Mindy Holcomb and Kellie Biggs assisted with serving.
After a wedding trip to Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Mexico, and Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple is at home at Pine Bluff.
The bridegroom's mother hosted a rehearsal dinner June 18 at Shepherd Hill Baptist Church.
