Lehenbauer - 50th
Mr. and Mrs. Al G. Lehenbauer of New London will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their daughters and their families from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2001, at St. John's Lutheran School in Hannibal.
Wanda Elizabeth Davis and Al G. Lehenbauer were united in marriage on July 8, 1951, at St. John's Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Hartwig Schwehn officiated.
Attendants were Willa Lou Wilcoxen Cunningham, Joyce Bowman Stewart, Kenneth Hauter and Ted Lehenbauer.
Mrs. Lehenbauer is the daughter of the late David and Elizabeth Davis and Mr. Lehenbauer is the son of the late Louis and Freida Lehenbauer.
They are the parents of three daughters, Linda Lou Ruhl of New London, Leslie Lynn Holthus of Seward, Neb., and Lisa Louise Bridgeman of Payson, Ill.
They have seven grandchildren.
Mr. Lehenbauer retired as manager of Duffen's Optical Co. and Mrs. Lehenbauer is a retired teacher of St. John's Lutheran School.
Friends and relatives are invited to the reception.
They have requested no gifts.
