MONTICELLO -- Sarah Elizabeth Owen and Jonathan Lane Moore were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. May 22, 2004 at the First United Methodist Church at Monticello. The Rev. Edward Wyers officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Owen Jr. of Monticello. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Owen Sr. of Pine Bluff and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wayman of Star City.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Moore of Springdale. His grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Froud and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Moore, all of Springdale.
A program of nuptial music was furnished by Thad Webb, trumpeter; Linda Chapman, organist; and Ruth Chapman, pianist.
Mallory Potts and Madison Ryburn were the flower girls.
The candlelighters were Austin Moore and Dustin Moore.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a strapless gown of ivory accented with beads at the waist and on the train.
Her fingertip-length veil was of candlelight.
She carried a nosegay of red roses.
The bride's jewelry was a pearl-and-crystal choker and matching earrings.
Sally Owen was the maid of honor. She wore a strapless, tea-length gown of black, accented with black beads at the waist.
The bridesmaids were Courtney Wayman, Lindsay Potts, Anna Carol Scogin, Ashley Parker and Wendy Rice.
The junior bridesmaid was Halley Ryburn.
Cameron Moore was the best man.
Michael Johnson, Courtney Silkwood and Shannon Long were the ushers.
The groomsmen were Jason Owen, William Palsa, Shaun Long, Andrew Wamble and Justin Collins.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of Mrs. Virginia Ryburn at Monticello.
Olivia Pace and Leigh Haywood kept the bride's book.
Emily Hilton, Sydney Selby, Rachel Brown and Kennedy West assisted with serving.
After a wedding trip to the Caribbean Islands, the couple is at home at Centerton (Benton County).
The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner May 21 at the Lone Cypress Duck Lodge at Tillar (Desha County).
