ROGERS -- Serena Roxann Thompson and Eric Stephen Green were united in marriage at 2 p.m. May 29, 2004 at the Chapel on the Creeks at Rogers. The Rev. Bruce Bennett officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Monica Thompson of Sheridan. Her grandparents are Joe and Peggy Thompson of Junction City (Union County), Vivian Nutt of Sheridan and Billy Nutt of Pine Bluff.
The bridegroom is the son of Sam and Judy Green of Sheridan. He is the grandson of Charlie and Sue Green of Sheridan and Marie Smith of London, Ky., and the late Gordon Smith.
A program of nuptial music was furnished by Carolyn McGinnis.
Lilli Clark and Charlie Names were the flower girls.
Jonathon Thompson was the ringbearer.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a full-length, princess-style gown of white with cap sleeves and a scooped neckline. The bodice was accented with embroidery.
Her two-tiered, elbow-length veil featured rolled satin trim.
She carried an all-white bouquet of Asiatic lilies, dendrobium orchids, calla lilies, stock and ivy.
Nicole Parham was the matron of honor.
Breanna Thompson was the bridesmaid.
The bridal attendants wore full-length gowns of butter-cream yellow with satin bodices and chiffon skirts.
The best man was Jon Woods.
Allen Thompson was the usher.
The groomsman was Michael Fritchie.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Embassy Suites Hotel at Rogers.
Renita Clark kept the bride's book.
Following a wedding trip to Honolulu, the couple is at home at Springdale.
