Emily Nicole Richardson and Bradley Marshall Johnson were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. May 14, 2004 at the Olive Street Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Roger W. Stewart officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Derek and Joanne Richardson of Van Buren (Crawford County). Her grandparents are Vernon and LaVerne Horton of Weatherford, Texas, and Nolan and Joyce Richardson of Granbury, Texas.
The bridegroom is the son of Pam Johnson and Lori and Stan Johnson, all of Pine Bluff. His grandparents are Beth Gilmore Smith of Pine Bluff and the late Sam Gilmore and the late J.W. "Punky" Smith and Nedra Johnson Helvey, also of Pine Bluff, and the late Abb Johnson. His stepgrandparents are Catherine Smith of Pine Bluff and the late Henry J. Smith.
A program of nuptial music was furnished by Lori Johnson, pianist; Karan Foust of Pine Bluff, organist; and the bridegroom's father and Missy Ennis of Russellville, both soloists.
The flower girl was Rebecca Sanchez, who also distributed rice bags and bubbles at the reception.
The ringbearer was John Wesley Shelton of Pine Bluff.
Natalie Johnson, sister of the bridegroom, was the Biblebearer. She also distributed rice bags and bubbles at the reception.
Victor Cozens and Jordan Rose, both of Russellville, were the candlelighters and also served as ushers.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a strapless designer gown of satin embellished with Alencon lace and seed pearls on the bodice. The chapel-length train had a scalloped hem and was adorned with seed pearls and sequins.
Her waist-length veil was secured with a pearl-and-sequin tiara.
She carried a nosegay of peach and white confetti roses.
The bride's jewelry was matching diamond earrings and necklace, gifts of the bridegroom.
Debbie Morgan of Russellville was the maid of honor.
The bridesmaids were Leanne Richardson, sister of the bride, and Misty Craig, both of Van Buren, and Taylor Johnson of Pine Bluff, sister of the bridegroom.
The bridal attendants wore floor-length gowns of peach satin. The bodices were fitted and had spaghetti straps. They carried long-stemmed peach and white roses tied with white ribbon. The attendants wore matching diamond necklaces, gifts of the bride.
The best man was Rob Reed of Lake Charles, La.
The groomsmen were Trent Taylor of Searcy and Travis Bright and David Lensing Jr., both of Russellville.
Matthew Newton of Pine Bluff also served as an usher.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the fellowship hall of the church.
Amanda Woodmansee, cousin of the bridegroom, kept the bride's book.
Ashley Bogy, cousin of the bridegroom, distributed programs.
Jana McCall, Juli McCall, Katie Clement and Amber Johnson, cousin of the bridegroom, assisted with serving.
Sondra Newton of Pine Bluff was the wedding coordinator.
After a wedding trip to Dallas, the couple is at home at Van Buren.
The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner May 13 at Finley's Restaurant at Pine Bluff.
