Resinger-Pipkin
WHITE HALL -- Elizabeth Carol Pipkin and Jason Alan Resinger were united in marriage at 2 p.m. April 24, 2004 at the White Hall United Methodist Church. The Rev. Marlin Resinger Jr. of Pine Bluff, father of the bridegroom, officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Carolyn Jarrett-Pipkin of Pine Bluff and the late John Pipkin. Her grandparents are the late Presley and Lucille Jarrett of Pine Bluff and the late Robert and Elizabeth Pipkin of the Cornerstone community.
The bridegroom is also the son of Mrs. Marlin Resinger Jr. of Pine Bluff. His grandparents are Marlin Resinger Sr. of Pine Bluff and the late Betty Weller and the late Emmit and Jessie Dixon.
A program of nuptial music was furnished by Benjamin Jones, Mark Jones and Samuel Jones, all vocalists.
Courtney Resinger, niece of the bridegroom, was the flower girl.
The ringbearer was Colton Resinger, nephew of the bridegroom.
Escorted by the bridegroom, the bride wore an A-line gown of satin with a caviar beaded empire bodice and hem, featuring a detachable cathedral train accented with pearls.
Her fingertip veil of illusion featured pearl accents and was secured by a pearl tiara.
She carried a bouquet of 18 red roses and one blush pink rose in memory of her father.
The bride's jewelry was a diamond necklace and earrings.
Wendy Crow was the matron of honor and also designed the bride's veil and detachable train. She wore a sleeveless empire waist dress of black georgette with a split front overlay.
The best man was Tony Resinger, brother of the bridegroom.
Wayne Gross Jr., cousin of the bridegroom, and Kenneth Carroway Jr., cousin of the bride, were the ushers.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the church.
Kayla Kalkbrenner, Heather Knight, Caitlin Baum and Danielle Allbright assisted with serving.
After a wedding trip to Branson, Mo., the couple is at home at Pine Bluff.
