Jennifer Erin Ashmore and Brooks P. Browning were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. May 15, 2004 in a garden ceremony at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Farris Edward Madison at Pine Bluff. The Rev. Mary Susan Hilliard of Pine Bluff officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Beverly Brainard Madison of Pine Bluff and Michael Garner Ashmore of Dallas. Her grandparents are the late Dr. Warren and Mimi Brainard of Pine Bluff and the late Chuck and Lynn Ashmore of Dallas.
The bridegroom is the son of Blake and Vicky Browning of Conway. His grandparents are Montean Joyner of Conway and the late Glover Joyner and Emily Browning, also of Conway, and the late Blake Browning Sr.
A program of nuptial music was furnished by the Rodney Block Band.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an Asian-style gown of pale pink with a train.
Her hair, styled in an Asian upsweep, was intertwined with orchids.
She carried a hand-held bouquet of white enchantment lilies surrounded by white and porcelana roses.
Sarah Elizabeth Bradley, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. She wore a black sundress with a satin sash.
The bridesmaid was Amy Kathryn Browning, sister of the bridegroom.
The bridegroom's father served as the best man.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Madison home.
Jeanette Bradshaw Lightfoot assisted with serving.
After a wedding trip to Key West, Fla., the couple is at home at Little Rock.
The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner May 14 at Trios Pavilion Room at Little Rock.
