EUREKA SPRINGS -- Amber Leann Overton and Steven Mark Jones exchanged wedding vows at 1 p.m. May 1, 2004 at the Red Bud Valley Resort at Eureka Springs.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Overton of England (Lonoke County). She is the granddaughter of Marilyn Eifling of Ulm (Prairie County) and the late Paul Eifling and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Overton of Pine Bluff. She is a registered nurse at Baptist Hospital at Little Rock.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Jones of Mabelvale (Pulaski County). His grandparents are Sybil Jones of Mabelvale and the late J.B. Jones and the late Bo and Covina Fulmore. He is a mechanical engineer at Dassault Falcon Jet at Little Rock.
The flower girl was Katelynn Dawson, niece of the bridegroom.
Steven Berg, nephew of the bridegroom, was the ringbearer.
Escorted by her father, the bride's jewelry was an antique opal ring belonging to her great-grandmother, Pauline Eifling of Stuttgart, which was also worn by the bride's mother at her wedding.
Allison Overton, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.
The bridegroom's father was the best man.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the resort.
After a honeymoon in Eureka Springs, the couple is at home at Bryant (Saline County).
