Van Allen-McSpirit
Tiffany S. Van Allen, daughter of Bethann and Steve Van Allen and Jodi VanNostrand of Johnstown, was united in marriage to Patrick S. McSpirit, son of Charles McSpirit and Brenda Foster of Gloversville, at noon Saturday, July 21.
The ceremony took place in Mayfield at the home of the bride's father. Sherrill Gallup, Mayfield town justice, officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father and step-mother, Jodi VanNostrand.
Matron of honor was Aime Barnett of Gloversville. Maid of honor was Ronda Warner of Fonda.
Bridal attendant was Ami Van Allen of Johnstown, sister of the bride.
Flower girl was Christine Wilson, niece of the bridegroom.
Best man was Joseph McSpirit of Gloversville; second best man was Charles McSpirit of Fonda; groomsman was Douglas McSpirit of Gloversville, all brothers of the bridegroom. Ringbearer was Dale Van Allen, son of the bride.
A reception for 70 guests was held at the Mayfield firehouse.
The couple planned a simple camping trip, just to get away for a few days of relaxation. They reside at 48 S. Judson St., Gloversville.
The bride graduated from Johnstown High School in 1994 and has been attending Fulton-Montgomery Community College to earn a degree in early childhood.
The bridegroom attended Gloversville High School until 1993. He is now employed at Androme Leather in Gloversville.
