Gotch- Zarrelli
Leslie R. Gotch, daughter of Richard and Patricia Gotch of McMurray, Pa., was united in marriage to Michael J. Zarrelli, son of Gerardo Zarrelli of Duanesburg and the late Gloria Zarrelli on Oct. 13, 2001.
The Catholic ceremony took place at St. Benedict the Abbott in McMurray, Pa. The Rev. John J. Arnott officiated.
Matron of honor was Rebecca Robertson. Bridal attendants were Michelle Albright and Pamela Iacono.
Best man was Patrick Zambito. Groomsmen were Michael Gotch, Anthony Zarrelli and Gerardo Zarrelli of Gloversville.
Readers were Timothy Small and Christopher Ernst. Communion gifts were presented by Maria and Henry Ross of Mayfield, along with Valma and Robert Gotch and Betty Mamola.
The couple took a honeymoon to St. Lucia. They live in Silver Spring, Md.
The bride graduated in 1991 from Peters Township High School in McMurray, Pa. and in 1995 from Pennsylvania State University. She is a recruiter for Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld L.L.P. in Washington, D.C.
The groom is a 1985 graduate of Gloversville High School and received a bachelor's degree in 1989 from Hartwick College in Oneonta and a Juris Doctor degree in 2000 from Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He formerly was a legislative representative for former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani in the city's Washington Bureau. He is now manager of federal government affairs for Alticor.
