Beth E. Hervey, daughter of the late David and Marilyn Hervey of Utica, was united in marriage to Bobby B. Blowers, son of Donald and Diane Blowers of Edinburg, at 4 p.m. on Sept. 8, 2001.
The double-ring ceremony took place in Edinburg at the home of the groom. The Rev. R.W. Williams officiated.
The bride was escorted by her brother, Patrick Gilfeather of Seattle.
Maid of honor was Sara Hervey of New York City, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Michelle Summers of Binghamton, sister of the bride. Flower girl was Meredith Summers, niece of the bride.
Best men were Corey F. Blowers of Hope and Gregory B. Blowers of Edinburg, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Kenneth Gilfeather and Martin Gilfeather, brothers of the bride.
DeAndra Sinisi, sister of the groom, presented a special reading to the bride and groom.
A reception for 125 guests was held in Edinburg at the home of the groom.
The couple took a honeymoon to Vermont and surrounding states. The couple lives on Military Road, Edinburg.
The bride is a graduate of the University at Albany and is employed by Regeneron Pharmaceutical Co., in Albany as a quality assurance specialist.
The groom is a graduate of Northville Central School and is employed by Golub Corp. of Rotterdam.
