Curthoys-Connolly
Jennifer Curthoys, daughter of Charles and Priscilla Curthoys of Gloversville, was united in marriage to David Connolly, son of Dennis and Carolyn Connolly of Redding, Calif., at 2 p.m. on Nov. 3, 2001.
The ceremony took place at Sacred Heart Church in Gloversville. The Rev. David Tressic, pastor, officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Matron of honor was Jaime Kosowicz of Johnstown. Bridal attendants were Susan Burbage of Wayland, Mass., sister of the bride; Laura Curthoys of Clifton Park; Janine Arai of Gloversville, sister of the groom; and Melissa Derwin of Johnstown. Flower girl was Catie Burbage of Wayland, Mass., niece of the bride.
Best man was Daniel Connolly of Elk Grove, Calif., brother of the groom. Ushers were Gary Connolly of Redding, Calif., brother of the groom; Michael Curthoys of Clifton Park, brother of the bride; Sean Arai of Gloversville; and Jeff Bowring of Redding, Calif. Ringbearer was Jacob Arai of Gloversville, nephew of the groom.
A reception for 120 guests was held at Perthshire in Perth.
The couple took a honeymoon to Jamaica. They live in Gloversville.
The bride received an associate's degree in criminal justice from Fulton-Montgomery Community College and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the Rochester Institute of Technology. She is a New York state trooper.
The groom attended Shasta Community College and is manager of the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Johnstown.
