LYNCH - JOHNSON

Linda H. Lynch and Kevin P. Johnson

Linda H. Lynch, daughter of Josephine D. Lynch and the late David B. Lynch of Gladwyne, Pa., to Kevin P. Johnson, son of Barbara L. Johnson and Tristam B. Johnson of Princeton, April 13, 2002. The Rev. William H. Wood III, an Episcopal minister, married the couple at the Church of the Redeemer in Bryn Mawr, Pa.

Ms. Lynch, 38, is keeping her name. Until recently she was director of private equity for Lucent Asset Management in Boston, Mass. She graduated from Yale University in 1985 as did her husband.

Ms. Lynch held various positions in city government in Manhattan under a four-year fellowship before attending Stanford Graduate School of Business in Palo Alto, Calif., from which she received an M.B.A. and a Certificate of Public Management. She has also worked for Cambridge Associates, an investment consulting firm in San Francisco and in Boston.

Mr. Johnson, 38, specializes in business development consulting for emerging markets. Until recently he worked with a software concern affiliated with the Monitor Company in Boston. A graduate of Princeton Day School as well as Yale, he taught for three years at St. Albans School in Washington, D.C. before joining the Peace Corps and serving for nearly three years in Togo, West Africa.

He then joined National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, a non-governmental agency headquartered in Washington, D.C. that is committed to democracy building around the world. Over the next six years he was posted to various African countries, including Burundi and Ethiopia, as well as to Jerusalem and Indonesia. He holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania.
