The Rev. Polly Shamy performed the ceremony at Union Congregational Church in Peterborough, N.H., the church where the couple met as choir members.
Mary Ann Fleming, vocal soloist and church organist, provided the music.
The bride and groom walked to the altar together.
A reception followed at the Mile Away Restaurant in Milford, N.H.
The bride is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo with a bachelor's degree in education.
She was a teacher in New York; Palo Alto, Calif.; and Albuquerque, N. Mex.
Prior to moving to Peterborough in 1997, she was a realtor with Gloria Nilson Realtors in Princeton and Richard A. Weidel Realtors in Hopewell.
She has two children and two grandchildren.
The groom has a BIE degree in engineering from General Motors Institute, Flint, Mich.
He is retired from a position as proposal engineer at Kingsbury Corporation, Keene, N.H. A widower, he has four children and eight grandchildren.
The couple took a wedding trip to the Berkshires and Jamestown, R.I.
They reside in Peterborough.

(Obituary for James Moomaw: "James Akridge Moomaw, January 03, 1934 - July 11, 2014
PERRY - Services for James Akridge Moomaw, 80, of rural Center, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2014 at Bienhoff Funeral Home, Perry, with Reverend Donald Schutte officiating. Burial will be in Lick Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Mr. Moomaw passed away at 4:45 a.m. July 11, 2014 at Hannibal Regional Hospital with his family by his side. He was born January 3, 1934 in Ralls County, the son of James Wesley and Mildred Vivian Akridge Moomaw. He was married to Juanita Fern Burroughs on March 21, 1951 in Hannibal and she survives. Other survivors include: one son and his wife, Mike and Virginia Moomaw of Center; one daughter and her husband, Joyce Ann and Richard Vincent of New London; three grandchildren, Allen Sweeting of Fulton, Chris Moomaw of Springfield, and Jennifer Fulton of Monroe City; and five great grandchildren, Maddox, Braxton, and Lexy Sweeting of Fulton, Kaylee Fulton of Monroe City and Kyndall Moomaw of Springfield. He was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Moomaw Clouse. Mr. Moomaw was lifetime area resident and farmer. He was Christian by faith. He worked as a laborer for the Ralls County Highway Department for many years. He enjoyed restoring antique tractors and collecting all brands of miniature farm toys. Memorials may be made to the Ralls County Health Department Home Health Care. Pallbearers will be Rodney Schutte, Kenny McIntosh, Allen Sweeting, Chris Moomaw, Jimmy Fulton and Jimmy Branch.")
