The June 14, 2003 ceremony at Trinity Episcopal Church was officiated by the Rev. Jean R. Smith of the Seaman's Church Institute of New York and New Jersey.
A reception at the Nassau Club followed.
The bride, 32, is a graduate of Princeton High School and Princeton University. She received an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1997.
She is a founder and managing director of Kingston Family Vineyards in Casablanca, Chile.
The groom, 33, graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1991 and received an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1999.
Between his undergraduate and graduate studies, he worked in South Africa, Malawi, and Namibia for the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs.
He is a director of business development at Seven Networks in Redwood City, Calif.
The couple was introduced by a mutual friend several days prior to the groom's departure for Chile, where he was going trekking in the Andes.
The bride, who was traveling to Chile the same week for the first harvest at Kingston Family Vineyards, invited the groom and his friends to visit her family in the Casablanca Valley after the completion of their trek.
The couple will take a wedding trip to Umbria, Italy.
They reside in Woodside, Calif.
