Katrina Marie Spear, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Spear, Evansville, Ind., to Derek Kaczmarek, son of Ken and Linda Kaczmarek, Lambert Drive.
Ms. Spear is a 1997 graduate of DePauw University, Greencastle Ind. She holds an M.B.A. degree from Purdue University, West Layfayete, Ind., and is employed with Shephard Insurance Agency, Indianapolis, Ind.
Mr. Kaczmarek, a 1993 graduate of Princeton High School, is a 1997 graduate of DePauw University. He is pursuing studies at Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind., from which he will receive a joint law/M.B.A. degree in May 2003.
The couple will be married in May 2002, in Evansville.
