Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell William (Heidi Ann) Davenport
Miss Heidi Ann Palmer and Mr. Maxwell William Davenport were united in marriage on July 5, 2003 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Mayville. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Raymond A.J. Donahue. Music for the ceremony was performed by cousins of the groom, soloist Amanda Phoebe of Pittsburgh, Pa., pianist Carrie Szermeta and organist Tammy Peters, both of Cambridge Springs, Pa., and guitarist Dan O'Connell of Westfield. Yessania Butterfield of Jamestown, Deanna Bliss and Leonard Salva of Mayville and Brian Palmer of Olympia, Wash., brother of the bride, gave readings.
The bride is the daughter of Garry and Judy Palmer of Westfield. The groom is the son of Thomas and Judy Davenport of Dewittville.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. Serving as maid of honor was Christine Farnham of Stockton, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sheri Winkelmann of Silver Creek, cousin of the bride, Michele Davenport of Pensacola, Fla., sister of the groom, and Kelly Olsen of Durham, N.C. The bride's nieces, Tina Marie and Stacy Ann Palmer of Olympia were junior bridesmaids.
The bride's nieces Dusti Nicole and Jordan Bree Palmer, also of Olympia were flower girls.
Mr. Joel Notaro of Mayville served as best man. Groomsmen were Josh Sander of Mayville, Jeremy Bryant of Pensacola, and Todd Davenport of Dewittville, brother of the groom. The groom's uncle, David Snyder of Waterford, Pa., served as greeter.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Webb's Captain Table in Mayville.
The bride is a graduate of Westfield Academy and Central School and Jamestown Community College. She was employed by Cellular One in Jamestown.
The groom is a alumnus of Mayville Central School and Jamestown Community College. He is employed by American Environmental, Inc., in Pensacola.
After honeymooning in Gettysburg, Pa., and Orlando, Fla., the couple make their home in Pensacola.
