Lee - Benyo
Candra Lee, Hazleton, daughter of Deborah Kmetz, Hazleton and Brian Benyo, Milnesville, son of Andrew and Marguerite Benyo, Milnesville, were united in marriage in a double ring ceremony in Ss. Peter and Paul’s B.C. Church, Beaver Meadows.
A reception followed at Lobitz Catering. The couple now resides in Scotch Hill Estates, Lattimer.
Given in marriage by her mother, the bride chose her aunt, Kelly Kmetz, New Coxeville, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Nadine Kmetz, New Coxeville and Andrea Vercusky, West Hazleton, aunts of the bride; Christa Benyo, Milnesville, niece of the groom; Corrina Garcia, Hazleton; Marisa Salata, McAdoo, and Amanda Martucci, Kingston. Junior bridesmaids were Alyssa and Caleigh Vercusky, West Hazleton, and Ciara Sweeney, Mountain Top, all cousins of the bride. Alexandra Lee, sister of the bride, was the flower girl.
Steve Benyo, Hazleton, served as best man for his brother and groomsmen were Mark Benyo, Milnesville and Gary Benyo, Allentown, brothers of the groom; Michael Benyo, Milnesville, nephew of the groom; John Kashack, Harrisburg, cousin of the groom, and Kenny Koziel, Ridgewood. Junior ushers were Matthew Benyo, nephew of the groom and Justin Maylath, brother of the bride. Cole Lee, brother of the bride, was the ring bearer.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Hazleton Area High School and a 2002 graduate of the Hazleton Area Career Center licensed practical nursing program. She is employed at The Laurels Senior Living Community. The groom is a graduate of Bishop Hafey High School and is employed with the Department of Transportation.
A shower in honor of the bride was given by her godmother, Anna Mae Balas, at Best Western Genetti Motor Lodge and the groom’s parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Keith’s Bistro.
