Conover - Buchman
Amy Conover and Jared Buchman were united in marriage on June 19 in Zion’s Stone Church, Snyders.
The Rev. Michael A. Frost performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Eric and Karen Conover, Andreas, and the groom is the son of James and Janet Buchman, Frackville.
Audrey Christ was the organist and special music was provided by Kate Conover on flute and Missy Gatens on clarinet.
Following a reception at Best Western Genetti Motor Lodge, Hazleton, the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Hawaii. They now reside in R.R. New Ringgold.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister, Kate Conover, Andreas, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Albert, Allentown, cousin of the bride; Kristen Buchman, Frackville, sister of the groom; Missy Gatens, Tamaqua, and Jen Menser, Lebanon.
Scott Karwacki, Bethlehem, performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Michael Arculeo, Edison, N.J.; Christopher Gowin, Quakertown; Steven Kocis, Bethlehem, and Walter Wasylenko, Walnut Creek, Calif.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communication disorders from Penn State University in 2001. She is a hearing aid specialist and is the owner-operator of Hear Clear, Palmerton.
The groom, who is a 1994 graduate of Cardinal Brennan High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from DeSales University in 1998 and a Master of Library Science degree in 2002 from Kutztown University. He is employed by the Blue Mountain School District as high school librarian and head coach of the cross-country team.
A shower in honor of the bride was held at the Tamaqua Community Center and the rehearsal dinner was held at Zion’s Stone Church Community Room.
