Spevak - Schultz

Lisa Ann Spevak, daughter of Nancy Judge and Ronald Spevak, Hazleton, and James Nelson Schultz Jr., Shavertown, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Schultz Sr., Berwick, were united in marriage in Faith United Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nescopeck.

The Rev. Jeff Odgren performed the double ring ceremony.

Following a reception at the Reliance Fire Hall, Berwick, the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Florida. They now reside in Shavertown.

Given in marriage by Carmine Faino, the bride chose Crystal Spevak, Pittston, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Julie Schultz and Jamie Schultz, both of Berwick, and Christine Spevak and Shannon Peterko, both of Hazleton. Alexis Spevak, Hazleton, was the flower girl.

Joshua Harvey, Berwick, performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Craig Hosler, Nescopeck; Mark Oplinger, Shavertown; Lou Paglianite, Pittston; and Brian Adams, Berwick. Anthony Perno, Hazleton, was the ringbearer.

A 1996 graduate of Hazleton Area High School and a 1998 graduate of McCann School of Business with an associate degree in executive medical secretary, the bride is employed by First Federal Bank.

The groom, a 1996 graduate of Berwick High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology in 2001 from Penn State University. He is employed by The Ronco Group, Lake Winola.

A shower in honor of the bride was held at The Towers, Fern Glen and the rehearsal dinner was held at Reliance Fire Hall, Berwick.
