DeLucca - Alshefski

Sandra DeLucca, West Hazleton, and Joseph Alshefski, West Hazleton, were married on May 15th in a double ring ceremony performed by Deacon Samuel Mills in St. James Church, Eckley.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Daniels and the groom is the son of the late Gerald and Theresa Alshefski.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her niece, Kelly Lonczynski, Philadelphia, as maid of honor.

Gerald Alshefski, Drums, performed the duties of best man for his brother. Matthew Alshefski, godson of the groom, was the ring bearer.

Following a reception at the Valley Country Club, the couple left on a honeymoon cruise of the Western Caribbean and New Orleans. They now reside in West Hazleton.

The bride is employed as a expeditor for Michaels Procurement, Humboldt Industrial Park, and the groom is self-employed.

A shower in honor of the bride was given by Lynn Poltrok and Barbara Alshefski at The Brass Buckle, and the rehearsal dinner was held at the home of the couple.
