LaBuda - Raback
Melinda LaBuda, daughter of Michael and Mary Lou LaBuda, Hazleton, and Matthew Raback, son of James and Sherry Raback, Lewisberry, were married on Feb. 28 by Deacon Joe Wrabel in a single ring ceremony in Holy Name of Jesus Church, Harrisburg.
A reception followed at Parev, Harrisburg. The couple honeymooned in March in Paris, France. They now reside in Harrisburg.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Melissa LaBuda, Manhattan, N.Y. as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan LaBuda, Virginia Beach, Va.; Meredith LaBuda, Hazleton; Gina Mooney, Northampton; and Kristin Ives, Harrisburg. Madelyn LaBuda, Hazleton, was the flower girl.
Steve Abraham, Sterling, Va., was the best man. Groomsmen were Michael LaBuda Jr., Hazleton; Matthew LaBuda and Josh Ives, both of Harrisburg; Denny Firestone, Lebanon, and Michael Raback, Etters. Marcus LaBuda, Hazleton, was the ring bearer.
The bride, a 1994 graduate of Hazleton Area High School and a 2000 graduate of Penn State University, is a special event coordinator for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. A 1994 graduate of Red Land High School and a 1998 graduate of Penn State University, the groom is in pharmaceutical sales for Bayer Pharmaceuticals.
A shower in honor of the bride and the rehearsal dinner were both held at 5:01 Downtown, Harrisburg.
