Murmello - Stuccio
Michelle Lynn Murmello and Scott James Stuccio were married in a double ring ceremony performed by the Very Rev. James J. Paisley in St. Ann’s Church, Freeland.
Joseph Evancho, cousin of the bride, served as acolyte. Readings were given by Mary Krone, aunt of the bride, and Adeline Esposito, great aunt of the groom. Melane Evancho, aunt of the bride, and Bernard Zegarski, uncle of the groom, presented offertory gifts. Musical selections were provided by the Bramz String Ensemble, Suzanne Schaeffer was soloist and Miriam Jamelli, the organist.
The bride is the daughter of Casimer and Gina Murmello, Freeland. The groom is the son of Vincent and Patricia Stuccio, Laflin.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her cousin, Melena Evancho, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Charlotte Deleste-Giordan, Jillanne Mahovich and Laura LaBuda. Anastacia Krone, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.
Christopher Stuccio was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Vincent and Kenneth Stuccio, brothers of the groom, and Michael Sawka. Ushers were Charles Krone and Matthew Krone, cousins of the bride.
Following a reception at the Valley Country Club, the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Orlando, Fla.
A 1992 graduate of Bishop Hafey High School and a 1996 graduate of Wilkes University, the bride is an ENG Editor for WBRE-TV. The groom, a 1991 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School and a 1995 graduate of Penn State University, is chief meteorologist at WYOU-TV and also teaches meteorology at Penn State Wilkes-Barre.
A shower in honor of the bride was held at the Valley Country Club and the rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at the Top of the 80s.
