Sency - Davidick

Jennifer Sency, daughter of Kenneth and Eileen Sency, Weatherly, and Joseph Davidick, son of Thomas and Mary Davidick, Hazleton, were united in marriage March 6 in Transfiguration Church, West Hazleton.

The Rev. Robert M. Timchak performed the double ring ceremony.

A reception was held at Stashko’s Top Shelf, Hazleton.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Paulette Belusko, Hazleton, as maid of honor. Rebecca Madurki, sister of the groom, was a bridesmaid. Elizabeth Madurki and Katherine Davidick, nieces of the groom, were flower girls.

Jason Rosenstock, Hazleton, performed the duties of best man, while Andrew Fisher, Hazleton, served as groomsman. Sean Overton, Hazleton, was an usher and Michael Davidick, the groom’s nephew, was junior usher.

A 1999 graduate of Weatherly Area High School, the bride attended College Misericordia and received a bachelor’s degree in English with minors in psychology and creative writing in 2003. She is employed as an assistant editor at Panorama Magazine and is also employed in the accounting department at Wal-Mart. The groom is a 1996 graduate of Hazleton Area High School. He served eight years in the Army Reserves and is on active duty in the Army as a communications specialist.

They reside in Hazleton and are preparing for a three-year deployment with the Army to Germany.
