Sinkovich - Bernardi
Jessica Lynn Sinkovich and Raymond Joseph Bernardi III were married in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Pittston. The Rev. Paul McDonnell was the celebrant and Bob Roman, cousin of the bride, served as deacon.
The bride is the daughter of Gregory Sinkovich, Riverside, and Dorothy Penman, Bloomsburg. The groom is the son of Raymond and Karen Bernardi, West Pittston.
Paul Schneck and Gregory Skibinski gave readings. Amelia Schneck provided musical selections and offertory gifts were presented by Karina Price and Judy Skibinski.
Following a reception at Victoria Inns, Pittston, the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Aruba. They now reside in Mountaintop.
The bride chose Tara Sosnoski as maid of honor and bridesmaids were Ruth Procopio, April Masick, Regan Kwiatkowski and Shauna Hebal. Junior bridesmaids were Noelle Hebal and Nadia Schuster. Gabrielle Hebal was the flower girl.
Darren Bernardi served as best man for his brother and groomsmen were Joseph Sinkovich, brother of the bride; Fred Bohn, Dan Jackloski and Brett Bernardi, brother of the groom. Jared Skibinski was the ring bearer.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Mount Carmel High School and a 2001 cum laude graduate of Wilkes University with a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is a pharmacist at Rite Aid Pharmacy, Scranton. She is the granddaughter of the late Michael and Vlosia Sinkovich of Atlas and the late Joseph and Mary Stich of Hazleton.
The groom graduated in 1995 from Wyoming Area High School and in 2001 from Wilkes University with a doctor of pharmacy degree. He is chief pharmacist at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Minersville. He is the grandson of the late Raymond and Rose Bernardi and the late Teclo and Irene Baldoni.
A shower in honor of the bride was given by her mother and bridesmaids at Portabella’s Catering, Lightstreet. The groom’s parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Fox Hill Country Club, West Pittston.
