Brayford - Kostura
Christine Brayford, daughter of Charles and Nancy Brayford, Frackville, and Kenneth Kostura, son of Paul and Barbara Kostura, Pottsville, were married in Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church. The Very Rev. Ronald C. Barusefski celebrated the double ring ceremony.
Following a reception at St. Nicholas Hall, Primrose, the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Jamaica. They now reside in Christiansburg, Va.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister, Amy Beth Brayford, Berwick, as matron of honor, and Kelly Milo, Pottsville, the groom’s sister, was the bridesmaid. Addie Shukausky and Clare Milo, nieces of the bride and groom, respectively, were flower girls.
Dan Riddle, East Grand Forks, Minn., served as best man, and Nicholas Brayford, Frackville, brother of the bride, was groomsman. Joshua Milo, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.
The bride is a graduate of North Schuylkill Junior Senior High School and Schuylkill County AVTS. She is a licensed practical nurse at the Hamburg Center.
The groom, a graduate of Nativity BVM High School and Penn State University, is a meteorologist for the National Weather Service, Blacksburg, Va.
A bridal shower tea, in honor of the bride, was given by her mother and sister at the Stained Glass Turret, Ashland, and the groom’s parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Blu Tavern
