Mazur - Verbilla
Adrienne Marie Mazur, daughter of Michael and Janice Mazur, Hometown, and Keith Anthony Verbilla, West Hazleton, son of Denise Verbilla, Tamaqua, were married in a double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. William Linkchorst in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Tamaqua.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Jennifer Billig, Bethlehem, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Annmarie Mazur, Angela Mazur and Leanne Mazur, all of Hometown, and Nadine Knowles, Tamaqua.
Charles Whitehead, Lansford, was the best man, and groomsmen were Dwayne Hacker, Rick Weaver and Shawn Knowles, all of Tamaqua, and Robert Capparell, Hazleton.
Following a reception at Nardini’s Banquet Hall, Nesquehoning, the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico. They now reside in West Hazleton.
A 1995 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, the bride received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Penn State University in 1999 and is a laboratory technician with the American Red Cross, NEPA Region, Ashley.
The groom, a 1996 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, earned an associate degree in criminal science in 2000 from Lackawanna College and is employed by the Borough of Tamaqua. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard.
The bride was honored at a shower held at the Trinity United Church of Christ hall in Tamaqua, and the rehearsal dinner was held at the Brookside Restaurant, Park Place.
