Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Foss of Fort Mill celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002, in the fellowship hall at Fort Mill First Baptist Church.
The celebration was hosted by the couple's children and their spouses.
They are Frank and Phillis Jackson of Greenwood, Karla Foss of Louden, Tenn., Phillip and Debby Foss of Fort Mill, Marvin and Anne Carden of Oak Ridge, N.C., Steve and Sandra Foss of Los Cruces, N.M., Tim and Joan Houck of Tega Cay, Bert Turner of Charlotte, Mary Moss of Fort Mill and the late Robin Turner.
The couple has 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Jeff Bedwell renewed the couple's wedding vows.
Floyd P. Foss of San Antonio and Betty J. Neal of Fort Mill were married Sept. 30, 1952, at the base chapel at Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, Ala.
