The Couple's Resort in Negril, Jamaica, was the setting Friday, March 21, 2003, for the marriage of Dequita Shonta Anthony and Andrew Gilmore, both of Rock Hill. The 2 p.m. ceremony was followed by a reception.
The bride, granddaughter of Rachael Anthony of 1107 Glenarden Drive, Rock Hill, graduated in 1996 from Rock Hill High School.
She is a student at Wake Technical College, Raleigh, N.C.
The bridegroom is the grandson of Clara Gilmore of 949 Albert St., Rock Hill, and the late Thomas Gilmore.
He graduated in 1995 from Northwestern High School, in 1999 with a bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, and in 2001 with a master's degree in computer networking from North Carolina State University.
He is a software engineer with Applied MicroCircuit Corp., Raleigh, and owner of Diverse Nation.com.
The newlyweds honeymooned at Negril, Jamaica, and will live with their 6-year old daughter, Deja Alexis Gilmore, in Raleigh.
