Anne Springs Close Greenway Dairy Barn in Fort Mill was the setting Saturday, March 15, 2003, for the marriage of Kathi Lei Weaver of Rock Hill and Charles "Chuck" William Ross II of Midland, N.C. Chaplain Dexter Lambert officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Lee Weaver of 2220 Clearlake Drive, Rock Hill, graduated in 1995 from Winthrop University, Rock Hill. She is a fourth-grade teacher with Belleview Elementary School, Rock Hill, and a coach at Rock Hill High School.
The bridegroom is the son of Charles Ross of Midland and Judith Ross of Charlotte. He graduated in 1985 from Mullens High School, Mullens, W.Va. He is a project manager with John R. Poore Builders Inc., Matthews, N.C.
The bride was given in marriage by her father and brothers, David Weaver and Dan Weaver Jr. Maid of honor was Elicia Pittman, and matron of honor was Debbie Giles, both of Rock Hill. Bridesmaids were Ashlei Giles, Dena McCloskey and Missy Neely, all of Rock Hill, Polly Weaver of Fort Mill and Jill McCoy of Canal Winchester, Ohio. Flower girls were Hana Weaver and Amber Giles, both of Rock Hill.
Best man was John Walton Jr. of Charleston. Ushers were Tom Atchinson, John Massie, Ronnie Massie, Ronnie Wright and Brian Dickens, all of Charlotte, Dan Weaver Jr. of Fort Mill, David Guffie of Belmont, N.C., and David Weaver and Brian Giles, both of Rock Hill. Junior groomsmen were Brian Weaver of Fort Mill and Drew Howington of Rock Hill. Ring bearer was McKenzie Milam of Charlotte, and chiming of the hour was Andrew Weaver.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Gatlinburg, Tenn., and will live in Rock Hill.
