Yamulla - Pickett
Deana M. Yamulla, daughter of David M. Yamulla Sr., Hazleton and Diane M. Funke, Atlantic City, N.J., and Major Paul L. Pickett, USMCR, son of Gerald and Dianne Pickett, New Albany, Miss. were united in marriage in an outdoor garden ceremony at the Skytop Lodge, Skytop.
The Rev. John K. Puskar celebrated the double ring ceremony.
Following a reception at the Skytop Lodge, the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Acapulco, Mexico. They now reside in New Albany, Mississippi.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Erin M. Duffy, Columbus, Ind., as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Constance Gilley, Myrtle, Miss., the groom's sister; Triona Karchner, Houston, Texas, and Nadia Abbott, Philadelphia. Caroline Matteo, Cranberry Township, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.
Michael Page, Oakton, Va., performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were David M. Yamulla Jr., Hazleton, the bride's brother, and John Butler and Bob Matthew, both of Dallas, Texas.
The bride, a 1994 graduate of Hazleton Area High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance in 1998 from the University of Scranton.
The groom received a Bachelor of Science degree in management from the University of Maryland and is vice president of sales and marketing with Momentum Business Solutions Inc., Birmingham, Alabama.
A shower in honor of the bride was held in Hazleton and the rehearsal dinner was held at the Pocono Brewing Co., Swiftwater.
