Berlanda - Troutman
Traci Marie Berlanda, daughter of Joseph Berlanda Sr., Hazleton, and the late Catherine Berlanda, and Michael Toomey Troutman, Pottsville, son of Craig and Bridget Troutman, New Philadelphia, were united in marriage in Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, Hazleton. The Very Rev. Patrick J. McLaughlin performed the double ring ceremony.
Readings were given by Erika Ozenghar, North Canton, Ohio; JoAnne Williams, St. Clair; and Shannon Conner, Carnegie.
Following a reception at the Stage Coach Inn, Drums, the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Clearwater Beach, Fla. They now reside in Pottsville.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Leona Lombardo, Hazleton, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Troutman, St. Clair; Erin Murhon, New Philadelphia; and Cathy Lombardo, Hazleton. Megan Murhon, New Philadelphia, was the flower girl.
Patrick Troutman, New Philadelphia, performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were David Troutman, St. Clair; Ronald Murhon Jr. and Sean Troutman, both of New Philadelphia. Ian Murhon, New Philadelphia, was the ringbearer.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Hazleton Area High School and is employed by Rite Aid, Pottsville. The groom, a 1988 graduate of Nativity BVM High School and a 1992 graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, is store manager for Rite Aid, Minersville.
A shower in honor of the bride was given by the bridesmaids and the groom’s mother, and the rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bride and groom at Ferdinand’s Restaurant.
