Miss Teague weds Mr. Sheahan
Kelly Denise Teague became the bride of Micheal Robert Sheahan March 13, at 4 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Charleston. Father Micheal Morrison, S.J., performed the double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at The Hibernian Society Hall, Charleston.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Dennis Teague of Columbia. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Sheahan also of Columbia. Ms Laura Ball, organist, Ms Emily McClure, vocalist and Mr. Greg Schoonover, trumpeter, all of Charleston, provided nuptial music.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose a strapless princess gown of duchess satin trimmed in an icy-branched design of seed pearls, Austrian crystals and Rocaille beads across the bodice, hemline and semi-cathedral train. A matching shawl was worn to the reception. Her two-tier headpiece was cathedral length with pencil edging.
She carried a bouquet of white roses, white orchids and fern. Miss Emily Hubbell, friend, of Houston, Tex., served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were friends, Mrs. Kristen Hubbell of Smyrna, Ga.; Miss Torri Gamble of Columbia; Miss Tori Echeverri and Miss Lissa Nelson, both of Atlanta. Honor attendants wore long, black. satin, sleeveless Empire gowns with organza overlay.
They carried bouquets of brilliant pink roses. Mr. Dennis Sheahan served his son as best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Sheahan, brother of the groom of Columbia; and friends Joe Milam and Tim Mesaric, both of Greenville; Skip Orr of Easley; Micheal Renault of Hilton Head Island, and B. J. Dixon of Newberry. Ms. Rita Eubanks of Spartanburg attended the register.
The bride holds a BA from the University of Georgia. She is currently pursuing an MBA while employed as a manager at BellSouth Telecommunications. She is a granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lester McNeace and the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Teague, all of Union.
The groom holds a BS from the College of Charleston and is business development manager for Softential, Inc. He is a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarance Kuehn of Madison, Wis. and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Sheahan of Grimms, Wis. After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple will make their home in Smyrna, Ga.
