Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Melvin Sumner, Sr. of Buffalo, South Carolina announce the engagement of their daughter Lesley Katherine to Matthew Paul Robbins son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Paul Robbins of Pinopolis, South Carolina.
The wedding is planned for May 1, 2004, at three o'clock in the afternoon at Trinity United Methodist Church, Charleston.
Miss Sumner graduated from Union High School and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-professional Studies from Clemson University.
She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the Medical University of South Carolina.
The bride-elect is a granddaughter of Mrs. Inez Sumner and the late Harris Sumner of Buffalo, and Mr. Loyd Maness and the late Edna Miller Maness of Buffalo.
Mr. Robbins is a graduate of Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner, S.C. and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Science and Management from Clemson University.
He is currently a Project Manager for Hightower Construction Company in Goose Creek, S.C.
He is a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Robbins, Sr. of St. George, S.C. and Mrs. Hazel Hucks and the late Mr. Mack Hucks of Hanahan, S.C.
