Miss Campbell weds Mr. Jeffcoat
Miss Anne-Jackson Campbell became the bride of Mr. Jonathan Alan Jeffcoat in a double-ring ceremony, July 26, at First Baptist Church, Simpsonville. The Rev. William Randal Harling officiated at the 5:30 service. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Poinsett Club in Greenville.
Miss Ashley Brown of Greenville, Mr. Matthew Brandon Bishop of Greenville, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carlisle Coker IV of Union served as greeters. Music was presented by Mr. William Franklin Fallaw of Greenwood, organist and cousin of the bride; vocalists Miss Morgan Leigh Donald of Simpsonville, the Rev. Chadwick Howell Eaton of Simpsonville; Mr. Richard Alan Jeffcoat, father of the groom of Simpsonville, and trumpeter, Mr. Mark William Tilley of Simpsonville.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oren Dennis Campbell of Union. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Alan Jeffcoat of Simpsonville. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride's father escorted her to the altar. She chose a white mock two-piece matte satin and satin organza gown with silver accents by Anjolique. The gown featured an off-the-shoulder bodice equisitely beaded and embroidered with crystals and pearls, with a scalloped waistline.
The full A-line skirt carried the beading and embroidery design on the hemline and chapel-length train. Her headpiece by Edward Berger featured a rhinestone crown in a flower motif, accented with a two-tier ballerina veil. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white diamond roses with white calla lilies wrapped in white French satin ribbon.
Mrs. Mary Wallace Riley of Clinton, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Her navy chiffon gown with beading by Mori Lee, featured a halter neckline, accented with an insert, empire band of scattered matching beads and flowing onto a soft A-line skirt. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white calla lilies with greenery wrapped with white French satin ribbon.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Jaime Vereley Campbell of Mauldin; Mrs. Suzanne Strickland Judy of Simpsonville; Miss Lisa Monica Quaranto of Murrells Inlet; Miss Annie Louise Smith of Greenwood; Miss Kristin Brooke Trammel of Union, and Mrs. Ansley Jeffcoat Welchel, sister of the groom of Taylors. They wore dresses and carried bouquets identical in style to that of the matron of honor.
Honorary attendants were Miss Megan Elizabeth Clark; Miss Amber Joy Gable, both of Simpsonville; Miss Karla Rebekah Kirby, cousin of the groom of Simpsonville; Miss Kelly Elisabeth Kirby, cousin of the groom of Simpsonville; Miss Lesley Anne Osborn of Watkinsville, Ga., and Miss Katie Elizabeth Younts of Fountain Inn.
The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Stanley Kevin Bailey, cousin of the bride of Aberdeen, N.C.; Mr. Thomas Mitchell Bell of Fort Mill; Mr. Michael Kirby Jeffcoat, brother of the groom of Simpsonville; Mr. Hugh Alexander Riley, brother-in-law of the bride of Clinton; Mr. Dansel Odell Sherbert of Greenville, and Mr. David Thomas Welchel, brother-in-law of the groom of Taylors.
Ushers were Mr. Tommy Lee Anthony and Mr. Tyler Lee Anthony of Union and Mr. William Bryan Campbell of Mauldin. Attending the register were Miss Elizabeth Ann Adams of Greenwood; Mrs. Kella Wells Such of Simpsonville; Mrs. Stacie Wilson Wentzky of Simpsonville, and Mrs. Jennifer Henderson Willis of Simpsonville.
The bride received her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Lander University and is currently employed as a sixth-grade teacher at Bryson Middle School, Greenville District. She is a granddaughter of Mrs. William Wallace Lawson and the late Mr. Lawson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Oren Jackson Campbell, all of Union.
The groom received his Bachelor of Science degree from North Greenville College and is employed by the City of Greenville as Traffic Engineering Technician. He is a grandson of Mr. Broadus Eugene Kirby of Union and the late Mrs. Kirby and the late Mr. Jazie Edward Jeffcoat of Salley and the late Mrs. Flonnie Lancaster Jeffcoat of Union.
After a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, Nev. and the Mexican Riviera, Mexico, the couple will make their home in Mauldin. Parties and showers Aug. 24, an engagement party was held at the home of the groom's parents in Simpsonville Aug. 31, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dickson, and Mr. and Mrs. Morris McColley hosted a dinner at The Peddler in Greenville. Dec. 29, Miss Brooke Trammel hosted a Christmas shower at her home in Union. Feb. 8, a morning coffee was held at the home of Mrs. Brenda Young of Union, co-hosted by Mrs. Donna Anthony, Mrs. Connie Camunas and Mrs. Becky Reynolds.

July 26, a grooms breakfast was given at the home of Mr. Tommy G. Sinclair, Greenville, co-hosted by Mr. Tommy L. Sinclair.
