Mr. and Mrs. Thomas David Simmons of Buffalo, South Carolina announce the engagement of their daughter Miranda Brooke to Travis Heath Hackler of Union, South Carolina, son of Mr. Roger Lee Hackler and Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Dean Lancaster of Union, South Carolina.
The wedding is planned for June twenty-eighth, 2003, at seven o'clock in the evening at Buffalo Baptist Church. The bride-elect is a graduate of Union High School and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from USC-Columbia. She currently holds a management position with Staffmark, LLC, a national staffing company. She is a granddaugher of Mr. and Mrs. Orion Oetzel Lancaster of Buffalo and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Edward Simmos of Buffalo.
The groom is a graduate of Union High School and is employed with Meansville-Riley Road Water Company, Inc. He is a grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. Bruce Martin of Conway, S.C. and Mrs. Walter Hackler and the late Mr. Hackler of Galax, Va.
