On April 8, 2003, Miss Pamela Annette Garner became the bride of Mr. Jeffrey Jerome Sloss at seven-thirty in the evening at the home of Rev. and Mrs. J. Archie Calhoun.
Rev. Calhoun performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ms Emma S. Garner and Mr. Robert E. Garner, both of Union.
She is a graduate of Union High School and obtained a BA in English from Wofford College and a Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina.
She is employed as a Media Specialist with Lexington School District II.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry W. Sloss of Winnsboro, S.C.
He is a graduate of Fairfield Central High School.
He served in the U.S. Army and is currently on active duty in support of, and during, Iraqi Freedom with the U.S. Army National Guard.
He is employed as a Corporal with the S.C. Highway Patrol in Troop, Post A. Briana Chade Starks, daughter of the bride of Irmo, SC was the bride's honor attendant.
The couple will reside in Union.
