Horning - Vodden
Anita J. Horning and David K. Vodden, both of Stockton, were married in a double ring ceremony on Aug. 20, 2004 at the Grand Island Mansion in Walnut Grove.
She is the daughter of Frances and Erwin Horning and granddaughter of Bernice Coe, all of Lodi.
After graduating from Lodi High School in 1993, she went on to earn a bachelors degree in psychology and legal studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1997.
She is currently employed as a social worker at Valley Mountain Regional Center in Stockton.
He is the son of David K. Vodden of Willows and Jeannie Vodden of Mokelumne Hill and grandson of Ken and Lucille Morrison of Jackson.
He graduated from Argonaut High School in 1987 and continued on to receive a bachelors degree in accounting from California State University, San Diego in 1991.
At present, he also is a social worker at the Valley Mountain Regional Center in Stockton.
The matron of honor was Leigh Johnson of Lodi.
Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Himelfarb, Angelique Shear, Christina Singer and Christa Varley.
Flower girls were Honor Horning and Ellie Vodden, nieces of the bride and groom
Best man was Bob Trudgen of Fresno. Ushers were George Greaves, James Vodden and Matthew Garbarini. Ring bearer was Adrien Coe, nephew of the bride and bell ringer was Wyatt Johnson.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Erwin Horning and the ceremony was conducted by Darwin Price.
A reception was held at the Grand Island Mansion in Walnut Grove.
The couple honeymooned in Tahiti and they will be making their home in Stockton.
