Michelle Anne Swails of Sonora and Jordan Anthony Smith of Ione were married in a double ring ceremony on May 22, 2004 in Foresthill.
The daughter of David Swails of Sonora, she is a graduate of Summerville High School and attended Folsom Lake College.
She is a developer coordinator at the Macaroni Grill.
He is the son of Daniel and Marianne Smith of Folsom and a graduate of Argonaut High School and Sierra College. He is a U.S. Army Cavalry Scout.
The matron of honor was Alyssa Ward of Sonora.
Bridesmaids were Jessica Cowley, Colleen Clark, Lana Benson, Misty Swails.
Junior bridesmaid was Andrea Miller and flower girl was Kaylee Lazaro.
Best man was John Goelz. Ushers were Marcus Goelz, Jesse Kuester, Jake Smith, Sam Sherrod and ring bearer was Aaron Clark.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, David Swails and the ceremony was performed by Pastor Tim Backmon.
The reception was held in the Foresthill Monté Verde Inn.
Special guests of the bride were grandparents, John and Shirley Swails of Valley Springs and Antonio and Dora Garcia of San Antonio, Texas.
Special guests of the groom were brother, Mark and Melissa Overgaard of Pittsburg; grandparents, Robert and Joyce Voss of Jackson; grandmother, Jean Orner of Antioch; and great-grandmother, Nancy Molfino of Jackson.
The couple honeymooned at Depoe Bay, Ore.
They will make their home in Fort Hood, Texas.
