Ms. Erin Lindsay Corcoran of Quincy, daughter of Lee Lindsay Curtis (Quincy) and Grant Weyman (Charleston, S.C.) was married to Mr. Robert Morrison Clayton III of Hannibal on June 2, 2001.
Mr. Clayton is the son of Judge and Mrs. Robert M. Clayton II of Hannibal, Missouri.
The wedding took place in Quincy at Vermont Street Methodist Church.
Rev. David Alberts of Vermont Street Methodist Church and Rev. Michael Kyle of Trinity Episcopal Church of Hannibal presided over the evening ceremony.
Musicians during the ceremony included Music Director Kirby Eber, and the Quincy String Ensemble.
The maid of honor was Heather Meyer.
Bridal attendants were Laurie Walton, Krista Smith, and Karen Weyman.
Serving as flower girls were Jessica Weyman and Allison Smith.
Best man was William Schanbacher.
David Clayton, Larry Rebman, and Grant Arthur Weyman served as groomsmen.
Ushers were Michael Taylor and Mark Willing.
Special attendants were Mari and Elizabeth Rendlen, who also served as candlelighters.
Louisa Rosenberg and John LaNear II served as liturgists.
A reception, immediately following the ceremony, was held at the Quincy Country Club.
Judge and Mrs. Robert M. Clayton II hosted the rehearsal dinner in their home the day preceding the wedding.
A post-wedding brunch was hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Blaine Thomas and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Spilker on June 3 at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas in Hannibal.
Jim Russell and Judge Mary Rhodes-Russell hosted a dinner party for the couple in their home in Jefferson City, MO and Mr. and Mrs. David E. Price, Jr. of Kansas City hosted a dinner party at the Kansas City Country Club.
Mrs. David Schattgen hosted a luncheon for the bride in her home in Hannibal.
Mrs. Krista Rodberg-Smith, Mrs. Jodi Whitfield, Ms. Heather Meyer and Mrs. Laurie Walton also hosted a luncheon for the bride held at the Victoria Grace farmhouse in Quincy.
The bride is a teacher for the Quincy Public School District.
She is currently finishing her master's thesis at Quincy University.
The groom is an attorney with the firm of Clayton and Curl in Hannibal, and is also State Representative for the 10th district of Missouri.
After a honeymoon trip to the Caribbean, the couple is residing in Hannibal.
