Salzmanns celebrate their golden 50th
Dick and Joyce Salzmann of Pine Grove recently returned from a trip to Connecticut and Maine for a two-generational anniversary celebration in May 2004.
The Salzmanns celebrated 50 years of marriage, and their daughter, Wendy Kaufman and her husband Todd of Connecticut, celebrated their 25th anniversary.

They met while attending Analy Union High School in Sebastopol and were married on May 8, 1954 in Guerneville.
Before their marriage, Dick was in Naval Flight Training in Pensacola, Fla., where he received his wings and a commission in the U.S. Marine Corps.
After discharge Dick had a lengthy and varied career flying for airlines and various corporations.
Dick retired from Bechtel Corporation after 19 years and the couple moved from San Ramon to Pine Grove where they have lived for the past 11 years.
Joyce has been a homemaker and involved in her church and volunteer work.
They are members of Grace Fellowship Church in Jackson and serve in the church's ministry to seniors.
The couple has two daughters, Wendy Kaufman of Connecticut and Robin LaFreniere of Livermore, as well as five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
