Pat and Don Grimes celebrate golden 50th
It was on July 11, 1954, that the wedding of Pat Blakely and Don Grimes took place at the Grimes Ranch in Fiddletown.
Over the years, Pat worked for Pacific Press in Mt. View, then retired to manage the Grimes household and the couple's three sons; Paul Grimes of Sacramento, John Grimes of Jackson and Bill Grimes of Modesto.
Don was the first male student to graduate from Sutter Creek Union High School and then return to teach at the same school.
The Grimes family hosted a party on Saturday, July 10, 2004 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Ridge Road in Sutter Creek.
