Brandt's celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

John and Marlene (Grosey) Brandt, renewed their vows at a 1 p.m, Mass on Saturday, June 7, 2003 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Sutter Creek. Father Liam MacCarthy and Father Ronan Brennan officiated.
A reception followed in the church hall for approximately 150 guests.
Five of their six children attended from Bozeman and Billings, Mont., Kaneohe, Hawaii, Santa Cruz and Pioneer and eight of their 15 grandchildren were also present.
Out-of-town guests came from Rifle and Pierce, Colo., Salem, Ore., and throughout California.
The couple were married on June 6, 1953 in Joliet, Ill.
When John was discharged from the U.S. Navy in 1954, they settled in Pomona. After 16 years, they moved to Glasgow, Mont., and for the past 27 years have lived in Pine Grove.
John is retired from his own business at Sierra Machine Products in Pioneer, while Marlene continues to work as a Real Estate Broker for Sutter Creek Associates.
The couples children are John Brandt, Jr., of Bozeman, Mont., Susan Doerr of Billings, Mont., Michael Brandt of Santa Cruz, Janine Scanson of Billings, Mont., Joseph Brandt of Pioneer and Jeffrey Brandt of Kaneohe, Hawaii.
