Vanessa Marie Smith and Jason William Shaw, both of Sutter Creek, were married in a double ring ceremony on March 1, 2003, at Mt. Zion Assembly of God Church in Pine Grove.
The daughter of William and Andrea Smith of Sutter Creek, she was home schooled and currently works for Raley's in the Chinese take-out department.
He is the son of Vernon and Nancy Shaw of Jackson.
He was also homeschooled and is currently working for the Jackson Rancheria Casino in valet parking.
The matron of honor was Nicole Smith of Sutter Creek and the best man was Kevin Enos of Jackson.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
A reception was held at the Jackson Rancheria and Casino.
They are making their home in Sutter Creek.
