McGredes celebrate 50th anniversary

The 50th wedding anniversary of Adrian David and Faith Marguerite (Maxson) McGrede of Pine Grove, was celebrated on March 29, with a dinner at Marie Callendar's in Stockton.
After dinner, the family went to the home of Frank and Mary McGrede Martinez of Stockton, the couple's oldest child.
A renewing of their vows was performed by Florida resident Aubrey John McGrede, Jr., who is Adrian's younger brother and was Best Man at the original ceremony.
His wife, Gertraud Louise McGrede, read scripture during the ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by their five children. Mary Marguerite (Frank) Martinez of Stockton, Kathleen Ann (Michael) Coy of Sutter Creek, Linda Juanita (Howard) Sharples of Longview, Wash., John Judson McGrede of Jackson and Jamie Leigh Conerby of Beaverton, Ore.
Spouses attending were Frank C. Martinez, Jr. and Michael Glenn Coy.
Grandchildren in attendance were Michael Orvil Rhoades (Mary) of Woodland with his girlfriend Stephanie Diane Winger of Woodland; Joshua David Coy and Alexis Sarah McGrede. Also Stephen Daniel Conerby and Laura Ann Conerby, both of Carson City, Nev., as well as step-granddaughter Deirdra Joy Sharples of Elk Grove and her two children, Liam and Olivia Braddy.
Unable to attend were Linda's husband, Howard Earl Sharples and daughters, Adrienne Rose and Katherine (Katie) Faith Sharples, all of Longview, Wash.
Adrian David McGrede retired from the Pine Grove Post Office and Faith retired from the Amador County Hospital.
The ceremony was followed by serving cake and sparkling cider.
