Stephanie Evans and Brian Joseph O'Malley, both of San Diego were married in a double ring ceremony on Dec. 22, 2002, at the home of the bride's grandparents, Donald and Bertha Vicini of Jackson.
The daughter of Julie and Edward Evans of Pine Grove, she is a 2000 graduate of Amador High School and currently attending San Diego City College pursuing a career in nursing and is employed at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego.
Her other grandparents are Sue Walker of Pine Grove and Elgin Evans of Sutter Creek.
He is the son of Edward and Jeanne O'Malley of Clinton, Iowa.
He is a 2000 graduate of Clinton High School and is serving in the U.S. Navy as a machinist's mate aboard the USS Boxer which was recently deployed to the middle east.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Edward Evans and the ceremony was performed by Judge David Richmond.
A reception was held at the bride's grandparents home and the couple honeymooned at the Sutter Creek Inn.
The couple will be making their home in San Diego.
