RYE - Kristyn D. Plumpton and Kevin P. McShane were united in marriage Sept. 21, 2002, in St. Andrews By-The-Sea.
The Rev. J. Jermaine Bodine of Warner performed the ceremony.
James McShane, the bridegroom’s father, played the mandolin, Jenifer Bentley, the bridegroom’s sister, played the flute and tin whistle, and Allison Bentley, the bridegroom’s niece, played the flute.
The bride is the daughter of Priscilla Plumpton of Manchester and was given in marriage by her bother, David Plumpton of Dallas, Texas.
The bridegroom is the son of James and Jeanne McShane of Dover.
Jessica Nichols of Manchester was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Katie Plumpton and Bethany Plumpton, both of Manchester, and Erin McGowan of Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.
James McShane III of Dover, was best man for his brother.
Ushering the guests were Neil McShane and Barry McShane, the bridegroom’s sons, and Scott Mendozza, all of Barrington.
The reception was held at Ashworth By the Sea at Hampton Beach where Meghan and Jennifer Plumpton of Manchester presented the guest book.
Mrs. McShane is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire majoring in sociology.
She is the manager of Blockbuster Video in Stratham.
Mr. McShane is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and received an associate degree from Stockbridge School of Agriculture.
He is a UPS driver in Stratham.
Following a cruise to Bermuda, they are making their home in Dover.
