Hurley - Demeroto
RYE - Odiorne State Park was the setting for the Aug. 10, 2002 wedding of Catherine Hurley of Wilmington, N.C. to Jason Demeroto, also of Wilmington. David Ruoff, justice of the peace, performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Carolyn Hurley of Seabrook. She was given in marriage by Walter Budzian, her stepfather.
The bridegroom is the son of Linda Thole of Sunset Beach, N.C.
Mrs. Demeroto is a 2000 graduate of the University of New Hampshire. She is a clinical research associate with Pharmaceutical Product Development Inc.
Mr. Demeroto is a student at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Tanja Little of Portsmouth was maid of honor for her friend. Bridesmaids were Johnna Weaver of Cape Neddick, Maine, friend of the bride; and Christine Connor of Kittery, Maine, friend of the bride. Flower girl was Emma Gilmartin of Lee, niece of the groom.
Victor Demeroto of Penacook was best man for his brother. Ushers were Ed Day of Cape Neddick, Maine, friend of the groom; and Jeremy Hurley of Cambridge, Mass., the bride’s brother. Gabriel Demeroto of Penacook, the groom’s nephew, was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Sheraton Harborside, Portsmouth.
After a honeymoon in Nova Scotia, the couple is making their home in Wilmington, N.C.
