Lanter - Larson
CHICAGO, Ill. - Jennifer Kathryn Lanter and Ronald Edward Larson were united in marriage June 14, 2002, in Chicago.
The Rev. Joseph Kurazynski performed the ceremony.
There was a 10-piece brass choir, Julia Lanter was the soloist, and Mike Frisco was the trombonist.
Readings were offered by Tricia Duffy, Todd Chapel and Steve Ferjanec.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Martha Lanter of Portsmouth and was given in marriage by her father.
The bridegroom is the son of Herbert and Lois Larson of Jamestown, N.Y.
Julia Lanter of Portsmouth was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Jennet Ingle, Leslie Fagan, and Audrey Schadt, all of Chicago. Kathleen Baughan of Richmond, Va., was the flower girl.
Scott Larson of New York City was the best man.
Ushering the guests were Andy Kutschke of Jamestown, N.Y., Dave Williams of New Castle, Pa., and Mike Vanham of Rochester, N.Y. Bryce Larson of Jamestown was the ring bearer.
The reception was held at the Doubletree Hotel North Shore in Skokie, Ill.
Mrs. Larson is a 2000 graduate of Northwestern University and received her master’s degree from Eastman School of Music.
She is a musician with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra.
Mr. Larson is a 1995 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology.
He is a software engineer with the Hull Group.
Following a honeymoon in Positano, Rome, Venice, Florence and Tuscany, Italy, they are making their home in Chicago.
