VALRICO, Fla. - Kristina A. Schweikert and Andrew M. Hirko were united in marriage, June 14, 2002 in Good News Presbyterian Church in St. Augustine, Fla.
Pastor Smiley Sturgus officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Carol Schweikert.
She wore her mother’s veil and diamond crown.
The bridegroom is the son of Paul and Patricia Elkins of Portsmouth.
Kristen Nicholson was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Ashley Matteson and Carley Matteson, cousins of the bride; Lyndsey Hirko, sister of the groom; Haley Hobart, Melanie Clarke, and Brook Gagnon.
Katy Russ was the flower girl.
Woody Gross was best man. Groomsmen were Mark Schweikert, brother of the bride; Dustin Aagaard, Jesse Grinstead, Geoff Ward, Chris Greenwood, and Ty Debovoise.
Jacob Russ was the ringbearer.
The reception was held at the Cathedral Parish Center in St. Augustine.
Following a honeymoon on a week-long cruise to Cozumel, Grand Cayma and New Orleans, they are making their home in St. Augustine.
